“Original Grade A” is a claim a supplier makes and a buyer has to test. The useful question is not what grade a quotation names, but which checks a buyer can run before, during and after the first order to confirm that the flash and controller inside the product match the declared grade.

The framework applies to any supplier of USB flash drives, TF memory cards, SSDs, portable SSDs, hubs and card readers. Shenzhen LingC Industrial Co., Ltd. is a storage and computer-peripheral manufacturer based in Shenzhen, China; the company was founded in 2023, and the team behind it brings more than a decade of experience in storage manufacturing.

What “Original Grade A” Should Mean in a Purchase Order

Strip the phrase back to two testable statements. First, the memory component inside the product comes from the original manufacturer’s own production and has not been re-marked, re-worked or downgraded afterwards. Second, the grade, the flash type and the controller family declared on the quotation are the ones that ship. Neither statement can be verified from a catalogue; both can be verified from records and from comparing physical units across batches. The shift buyers need to make is to convert a grade claim into verifiable actions, then write those actions into the acceptance terms.

Layer 1: Package Marking and Silkscreen Consistency

Start at the marking. Ask how the marking on the memory package is read: lot or batch code, factory mark, date code, and print or laser quality. On original production, marking depth and edge definition stay consistent across units in one lot; re-marked surfaces are commonly reported to show uneven depth or blurred edges.

Then compare: does the marking on your sample units match the mass production batch? Ask for the incoming-material inspection record for the component lot, and for the mapping from component lot to finished-goods batch to shipment — the backbone of every later check, including warranty handling.

Layer 2: Batch Test Evidence and Read/Write Consistency

Sample testing tells you what a good unit can do; batch testing tells you what the shipment can do. Ask whether functional checks are applied to every unit or to a statistical sample, whether read and write verification is a full-capacity pass or a spot check, and whether test data is retained per batch so a return can be compared with the release record.

Consistency matters as much as coverage: if the test host, file profile or tool changes between the sample batch and the production batch, the results stop being comparable. Ask for one fixed method and a per-batch snapshot rather than an average.

LingC runs copy machines, high-low temperature testing and BIT testing in-house, applies factory burn-in testing to every production batch, and keeps the results against the batch record. We also hold Original Grade A chips in stock, so the flash grade declared on the quotation is the grade that ships.

Layer 3: Capacity and Defective-Block Acceptance

Capacity is where declared specification and delivered product most often diverge, so define the acceptance method before the order. Three clauses do the work. Reported capacity must match the capacity class ordered, verified at the file-system level on a defined host. The supplier must state in writing what happens to units that fail that check — rework, another SKU, or scrap. And the flash area reserved for internal management must be defined, with usable capacity excluding it.

On defective memory blocks, use a release criterion rather than a published figure. Ask what release statement a batch must pass before packing, who signs it, and whether it travels with the shipment documents. A figure published without a defined test method cannot be verified; a batch release statement can.

Layer 4: Sample and Mass Production Consistency

An approved sample is worth exactly what its record is worth. Have it signed and dated, retained by both parties, and locked to the parameters that must not move: flash grade and type, controller family, firmware settings, housing, colour reference and artwork file. Then ask who approves a substitution, in which document, and how quickly you are notified — and compare a first-article unit from mass production against the golden sample.

Evidence and Clauses to Agree Before the First Order

Evidence What it proves When to ask
Component lot-to-batch trace map The flash in your goods can be traced to an incoming lot At audit stage
Per-batch test record Testing is applied to batches, with a fixed method With the quotation
Capacity acceptance statement Usable capacity and failure handling are defined Before the order
Signed, dated approved sample The reference build for your program Before mass production
Change-notification clause Substitutions cannot happen silently Before the order
Certificate list by model number Which SKUs carry CE / FCC / RoHS for your market Before the order

Compliance documentation follows the model, not the grade claim. The TF-Premium card (TFP3310), the PS5005 portable SSD and the RD3001 card reader carry CE / FCC / RoHS documentation; for any other model, certification for this specific model can be arranged upon order confirmation. The factory runs an ISO 9001 / 14001 / 45001 management system, certified since 2024 and renewed in 2026. Warranty terms differ by product line and are confirmed in the quotation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can chip grade be verified without visiting the factory?

Yes, to a useful degree. Marking records, lot-to-batch mapping and batch test records can be verified remotely. The strongest single check compares the sample batch with the mass production batch on the same test method.

Summary

Verifying Original Grade A chips is a records exercise backed by physical comparison: read the marking, trace the lot, compare the batches, define capacity acceptance, and lock the sample. LingC covers six product lines from a single production site in Shenzhen, and answers enquiries with per-model specifications and documentation status in the quotation.
